Education

I am a 1978 graduate of Poteau High School.  I attended Oklahoma State University from 1978-1982 and received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education.  I taught in Carney, OK my first year and in Perkins, OK for the next two years.  We moved to Poteau in 1985 and I substituted in Poteau Schools.  I have taught 2nd through 5th grade and Gifted Education in Poteau Public Schools for 8 years.  I received my Masters in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading from the University of Arkansas.  I then received my Principal's certification from Northeastern State University.  I was Assistant Principal at Poteau Primary for two years and am in my eleventh year as Principal at Pansy Kidd Middle School.
